As the Executive Director of Finance and Operations for Align Magazine, I have successfully managed the organization’s financial strategy, increasing its annual budget from $9,000 to $55,000. My role includes bookkeeping, financial planning, and budget oversight, ensuring the magazine’s long-term sustainability. Additionally, I serve as the primary liaison between Align, ASUO, and the University of Oregon, managing all communications to streamline operations and secure funding.

Vice President of Finance for Alpha Kappa Psi Business Fraternity
2025-Current
As Vice President of Finance for Alpha Kappa Psi Business Fraternity, I oversee all bookkeeping, financial planning, and dues management, including creating payment plans to support members. I coordinate and manage fundraising events to enhance the fraternity’s financial stability. Additionally, I handle all financial communication and reporting to our national organization, ensuring transparency and compliance.

Head Event Coordinator for Align Magazine
2023-Current
As the Event Director for Align Magazine, the largest club on campus, I plan and execute all major events, fostering community engagement and brand growth. I founded the annual Spring Market and the Depop x Align Clothing Swap, while also contributing to large-scale events like UO Battle of the Bands and the Fashion Entrepreneur Panel. My role involves event strategy, logistics, and creative planning to bring unique experiences to the Align community.

Overview of Reformation’s Corporate Social Responsibility Tactics
I got the pleasure to write about and analyze the corporate social responsibility of my favorite sustainable clothing brands Reformation. From its origins as a vintage store in Los Angeles to becoming a leader in ethical clothing, the brand is dedicated to minimizing its environmental impact through four core initiatives: “made smarter, made better, made for good, and sustainability.” By using 100% recycled or renewable materials, producing limited high-quality batches, and ensuring all garments are recyclable, Reformation is pushing the fashion industry toward a greener future.
